Grambling State drew 2-2 against Texas A&M Commerce Thursday evening at the GSU Soccer Complex.
The Lady Tigers were up 2-1 at halftime. A goal from Commerce in the second half made the score level.
Forward Jayla Gage scored first for the Tigers, Midfielder Aria Whitney scored the second goal shortly after. Gage was assisted by Naiya Singleton. Khori Banksassisted Whitney’s goal.
Midfielder Ashley Campuzano scored the first goal for Commerce. Midfielder Camila Montero capped off scoring for the game with an assist from Campuzano.
The draw leaves Grambling with a season record of 2-4-3, while Texas A&M Commerce now stands at 1-5-2.
